Friends of Scouting Update
I would like first to thank those who have already contributed to our
Friends of Scouting Campaign and have helped us jump start us on the way to
making our goal.
This Tuesday (1/17/2012), we will be continuing our Friends of Scouting
(FOS) Campaign. Chip Helme, our Troop FOS Coordinator, will be making a
brief discussion of FOS. For your convenience, I have attached the forms
here if you wish to fill them out and bring a checkto the meeting.
Remember you can donate or pledge amounts other than what is on the form all
donations to the Campaign are valued no matter the size.
While we will keep the campaign open until our Court of Honor in Feb. It
would help us tremendously if you could fill out the forms as soon as
possible regardless of the amount donated and turn them in at the meeting.
As many families have scouts in multiple units, if you have donated with
another unit please note that or if your choice is to not donate at this
time note that as well. One of the goals this year is a positive (in other
words we have established contact and not forgotten or left someone out)
contact for all of our scouting families. Completing the form will help us
determine who was contacted and reduce the amount of calls that we will have
to make near the end of the Campaign.
